Buddy Spy Features
Buddy Spy allows you to monitor and keep track of what other Yahoo Messenger! users are doing, even if they are in Invisible or Stealth Mode. The program shows if the user is online, what chat room they are in (if any) and if their web cam is online. It is able to do this by connecting to Yahoo! Messenger's servers and using its YMSG protocol. Sending carefully crafted packets, and listening to their responses.

Yahoo! Invisible Detection
Quickly and quietly check to see if a friend or enemy is truly online. With Buddy Spy you can scan a Yahoo! Messenger user with out fear that they know they are being scanned.
Yahoo! Primary ID Checking
Buddy Spy can also detect whether or not the user being scanned is on an alias profile or the default profile.
Yahoo! Webcam Checking
Buddy Spy will detect if the user is broadcasting on their web cam.
